ABOUT JODY
Jody started his riding career at the age of 7, and at the age of 10 got his first pony, an 11.2hh ride and drive called ‘Little John’. Little John took him through Pony Club and the pair were included in teams across the disciplines. Sadly, (but not unexpectedly!) Jody outgrew Little John, and in the following years had continued success on various different horses. It was when Jody purchased ‘Talisman’, a bright chestnut KWPN colt by Lancet, that his interest and talent in dressage really emerged. This partnership took Jody to many regional and national championships and confirmed that not only did he enjoy this focus on dressage, he had a real flair for it! Since then, Jody has trained and competed many horses at all levels. He has a great skill for spotting potential in young horses and working with them to achieve it. He believes that every horse is individual and requires a different approach in their training with the same end goal in mind.
